Gunpowder Irish Gin has gained a significant new listing in Latin America at Shopping China in Paraguay. The brand will be available in the Pedro Juan Caballero, Ciudad del Este and Salto deGuairá stores
The Drumshanbo brand contains Oriental botanicals and gunpowder tea.
“Shopping China is the first duty free customer for the full Gunpowder range in Latin America and this comes after a couple of years of great work in the North American domestic market,” says John Gallagher, Latam VP sales for distributor Duty Free Global.
“Brazil is one of the biggest markets for gin in Latin America and grew tremendously during the pandemic. We’ll be targeting Brazilian customers visiting Shopping China and we will roll out next year to retailers on the Uruguayan and Brazilian retailers.”
