Edrington buys out WEBB

Edrington and WEBB have agreed to terms that will see Edrington assume full ownership of its travel retail business in the Americas. Edrington Americas Juan Gentile, senior vice president for Latin America and Travel Retail said, “The joint venture with WEBB, led by Andy Consuegra as chief executive officer, proved exceptionally successful, delivering high double digit growth.”

Associations continue talks regarding possible show merger

The upcoming Duty Free Show of the Americas in Orlando will give duty free associations an opportunity to discuss a possible merger of events in future years. The South American Duty Free Association (ASUTIL) will join the Orlando show for 2018, but no commitments have been made beyond that.
